10 years after the original one written and sung by Iggy Pop, one of my favorite interpretation with the R.E.M. one... I am the passenger and I ride, I ride ...it looks so good tonight.
I found out this song by chance yesterday watching her live concert on the TV: I love the rhythm and the colours of the video. The concert was interested, it is the usual American PoP Music Format, very spectacular and plenty of special effects and considering the whole performance I believe she is not better than Britney Spears and Madonna, but she is beautiful indeed! She is very good when she sings ballade and she is the unique Pop Pin Up!
Directly from the 2nd edition of XFactor US (that I personally followed), the Fifth Harmony is pop girl group formed in 2012 during the bootcamp. Probably, immediately after her participation to the TV program they had domestic success, for sure, the international success started in 2015 when they launched this energetic and danceable song... we will see what will happen in the future, for the time being: well done Fifth Harmony!
Bang Bang Cher you shot me always down! Beautiful and charming: Cher, the song and the outfit. I knew the Italian version sang by Rosanna Fratello and, I believe, Ivan Cattaneo and I remember that even Cher sang this song when I saw Tarantino's movie "Kill Bill"...
What does this video music inspire me? I feel uncomfortable watching the video, I believe that child is unnatural in the that situation but the song remains timeless.
Am I a Marilyn Manson supporter? I had thought "not at all" in the past but some covers are very amazing like this one. I like even this music video indeed. I am really crazy for this song, video and interpretation.
I cannot say that I had been a real fan of The Cure even if a lot of my teenager friends were real fans. At the very beginning I considered his voice out of tune and unpleasant but I started to appreciate their music when I listened to this song. I am grateful to Robert Smith because reading news about his career gave me the opportunity to discovered that he was guitarist in the band Siouxsie and the Banshees that I loved (and I love) indeed. Thanks Robert Smith.
My London period, my twenties, my thoughtlessness and the desire to conquer the world and find out how the drug had spread everywhere ...know chemical happiness in the eye of loved and become aware the world is difficult to conquer.
It happened at least one time to all of us to have made a mistake but how many time we said "Sorry" to the people that we hurt? Sorry to all the people that I hurt and that I love... with the voice of Tracy Chapman.
What can I add? It is enough to listen to her voice and let the song bring you in a fantastic world that no longer exists. She had an amazing voice indeed; where has you hidden your Mariah? We want it back.
Mario Venuti has always been a great lyricist, less a great singer due to the problem to take under control his voice, but this song sung with the special Carmen Consoli is something hard to describe: the harmonious fusion of the 2 voices is very beautiful and you never get tired of listening, listening, listening... again.
I don't know if I prefer the song or the music video, for sure I love both! Melody and images are so touching and bring me a utopian atmosphere. Because, not only Russians love children too.
1981 - San Remo Festival the most famous and long-lived song festival of Italy. I bet that this song would never win... and it won! I was 10, and I didn't understand the meaning of the lyric at all. I loved the song after a while and I still love it.
I was 12 and it had been my firt time in disco, It was the 1984 the same year when Madonna had topped the hit worldwide with "Like a Virgin". I was skating (yes, it was a disco where you could skate, very common in the 80's) dressed in a track suit that I was very proud, it was Sunday in the late afternoon. I was turning around the track when it suddenly came Careless Whisper and a mixture of melancholy and dream took possession of me, remember scenes in slow motion and the saxophone playing this beautiful melody. Now it seems so fare, so close.
A very old and famous Italian song that seniors and young people have listened at least one time. Dedicated to all the people who immigrated abroad whining that they realised all their desires. Una cosa bella to all!
An extraordinary performance, a great voice, an important event that has touched our hearts so deeply. This song rock my soul when I am a little bit down and when I force myself being grateful for what life gives me. This song is dedicated to all the children that need help and support from adults responsible and that must take care of them. Peace and Love.
Eccentric, unconventional, innovative in every way. You can like or not her and his art but she remains unrepeatable: this is a very good way to be addicted... of music.
