I was 12 and it had been my firt time in disco, It was the 1984 the same year when Madonna had topped the hit worldwide with "Like a Virgin". I was skating (yes, it was a disco where you could skate, very common in the 80's) dressed in a track suit that I was very proud, it was Sunday in the late afternoon. I was turning around the track when it suddenly came Careless Whisper and a mixture of melancholy and dream took possession of me, remember scenes in slow motion and the saxophone playing this beautiful melody. Now it seems so fare, so close.
